About the Friends

FRIENDS OF THE ST. JOE RIVER ASSOCIATION, INC. SERVING INDIANA AND MICHIGAN

The Friends of the St. Joe River Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization, incorporated with the State of Michigan. It was founded in 1994 to bring together stakeholders in communities within the entire watershed. Their mission is to provide a viable organized caretaking program to support the issues which concern the welfare of the St. Joseph River and its entire watershed. There are several ways you can support the Friends organization and be a good steward of this natural resource we all share and enjoy:

  • Become a member
  • Volunteer at annual river clean ups in your area
  • Volunteer with the water monitoring program
  • Membership
  • Gifts and/or donations to honor family and friends
  • Memorial donations
