Black River Habitat Tour

Join the Two Rivers Coalition, the Bangor-South Haven Heritage Water Trail Association and the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy (SWMLC) for an afternoon of exploration of the beautiful Garvey property. This property is located just a few miles southeast of South Haven and encompasses 120 acres with several miles of combined frontage along the Black River and three tributaries.

Tour by land or water! The tour will begin at 1:00 p.m. If you plan to paddle please drop your kayak/canoe off at the Basic Family Access Site between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The meeting spot is at the property's north gate - just west of the 8th Avenue Bridge & Black River. The property is situated on 8th Avenue 1.1 miles east of CR 689 and .5 miles west of 68th Street along the Geneva Township/South Haven Township line.
